3. Act not to apply to certain persons and premises.
(1)The provisions of this Act shall not apply to,-(a)establishments of the Central or the State Government;(b)establishments of local authorities;(c)offices of Reserve Bank of India;(d)a worker whose work is inherently intermittent;(e)a member of the family of an employer.(2)A list of the workers referred to in clauses (d) and (e) shall be displayed at a conspicuous place in the shop or establishment and a copy of thereof shall be sent to the Inspector.
