Section 22(1) in The Assam Secondary Education Act, 1961
(1)The Board shall, for the purposes on carrying out its duties and functions imposed under this Act appoint the following committees, namely :(i)Curriculum and Syllabus Committee,(ii)Examination Committee,(iii)Physical Education Committee,(iv)Girls' Education Committee, and(v)Such other Committees, as may be found necessary.
