574. District Police within railway limits. [§ 12, Act V, 1861].
(a)The District Police shall not enter upon the lines or premises of the Railway company, except in the performance of their duty, or when called upon to do so by the railway authorities. In the absence of the Railway Police, however, the District Police shall act in all matters of urgency pending their arrival.(b)District Police temporarily deputed to assist in maintaining order inside railway limits, whilst so employed, shall be placed under the orders of the senior officer of the Railway Police present.
