Section 574(a) in Police Regulations, Bengal , 1943
(a)The District Police shall not enter upon the lines or premises of the Railway company, except in the performance of their duty, or when called upon to do so by the railway authorities. In the absence of the Railway Police, however, the District Police shall act in all matters of urgency pending their arrival.
