Section 16 in Tamil Nadu Recognised Private Schools (Regulation) Act, 1973
16. Secretary of the school committee.
(1)Every school committee shall have a secretary who shall exercise such powers and perform such functions as may be prescribed.(2)Every person holding office as president, secretary, manager or correspondent of a private school or exercising the powers of secretary under this Act on the date of the commencement of this Act shall be deemed to be a secretary under this Act.
