Section 7(4)(d) in The U.P. Village Forests Joint Management Rules, 1997

(d)to ensure that all the Village Committees in the Range are discharging the duties and exercising the powers assigned to them properly, equitably and justly. In case of any default the Range Committee shall intervene promptly and report the matter to the Divisional Forest Officer;
