39. Appointment of polling agent.
(1)At an election at which poll is to be taken, a contesting Trade Union or its election agent may appoint one agent and two relieving agents to act as polling agents of such Trade Union at each polling station. Only one polling agent of any contesting Trade Union shall be allowed to stay inside the polling station at any point of time. Such appointment shall be made in Form V2, in duplicate.(2)The Trade Union or its electron agent shall deliver the duplicate copy of the letter of appointment to the Presiding Officer.
