1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act maybe called the Salem City Municipal Corporation Act, 1994.(2)It extends to the City of Salem.(3)It shall come into force on such [date] [Came into force on 1st June of 1994 vide G.O.Ms. No. 93, M.A. & W.S., dated 1st April 1994.] as the Government may, by notification, appoint.
