129. Pension, family pension, gratuity, ex-gratia, loans and advances.
(1)A member of the service shall be entitled to get, on retirement, pension, family pension and gratuity at the rates at which an officer/official of the corresponding grade in the service of the State Government is entitled to get and for grant of and payment of pension, family pension and gratuity he shall be governed by the rules, orders and instructions relating to grant of and payment of pension, family pension and gratuity to the officer/official of the corresponding grade in the service of the State Government.(2)In the event of death of the member of the service, while in service, his legal heir shall be entitled to get ex-gratia at the rates at which an officer/ official of the corresponding grade in the service of the State Government is entitled to get and for grant of and payment of ex-gratia he shall be governed by the rules, orders and instructions relating to the grant of and payment of ex-gratia to the officer/official of the corresponding grade in the service of State Government.(3)Pension, family pension, gratuity and ex-gratia shall be paid from the Market Committee Fund of the Market Committee(s) as directed by the Director :Provided that the amount towards pension, family pension, gratuity and ex-gratia shall be paid only after obtaining previous sanction of the Director.(4)Sanction of loans and advances to the member of the service or officer or servant of the Market Committee shall be governed in accordance with the rules applicable to the officer and servant of the corresponding grade in the State Government service.Chapter-XVII Service Conduct
