(1)Notice for meetings of the Board shall be issued by the Member Secretary at least 15 (fifteen) days before each meeting. Members desirous of raising an item for discussion in the meeting shall send notice so as to reach the Member Secretary at least 7 (seven) days in advance and the item shall be taken up with the approval of the Chairman of the Board.(2)All meetings shall be held at Gangtok unless the Board decides otherwise. A record of proceedings of the Board shall be maintained by the Member Secretary who shall cause them to be circulated within 15 (fifteen) days of each meeting.(3)The quorum for a meeting of the Board shall be one-third of the filled-up members of the Board. In the absence of quorum, the meeting shall be adjourned to the same time on the next working day, and no quorum shall be required for such adjourned meeting.(4)The Board may devise its own procedure for transaction of business in accordance with provisions of this Act.
