Section 89(2) in The Bihar Municipal Election Rules, 2007
(2)All other papers relating to the election shall be retained until the termination of the next general election for the ward to which they relate and shall thereafter be destroyed subject to any direction to contrary given by an authority designated by Section 476 of the Act or by the State Election Commission.
