62. Scrutiny of nominations.
(1)The eligibility of the candidate shall be verified with reference to the original certificate of election of the candidate as President of the Water Users Association, under the jurisdiction of the Distributory Committee.(2)The nomination forms shall be scrutinised to decide the eligibility or otherwise of the candidate and recorded on the nomination form taking the objections raised by the other contestants, if any, into account and also recorded in Form-5.(3)A list of candidate whose nominations have been found valid shall be prepared in Form-8.
