Section 97(2) in The Punjab Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989
(2)The ticket agent shall be bound to exhibit his permit in Form TAP on demand of any person whose custom he has sought to secure or of any police officer in uniform not below the rank of a Sub-Inspector or an officer under the control of the State Transport Commissioner.
