Section 34(1)(xii) in The Global Open University (Nagaland) Act, 2006

(xii)invest money belonging to the University, including any unapplied income, in such stocks, funds, shares or securities or movable and immovable property in India and abroad, as it may from time to time, deem fit, and vary such investments;
