Section 53(2) in The Orissa Land Reforms Act, 1960
(2)(a)The Commission shall consist of seven members of whom three shall be officials and four non-officials to be nominated by the Government. They shall [unless the Commission is sooner reconstituted] [Inserted vide Orissa Act No. 44 of 1976.] hold office for a period of three years from the date of appointment.(b)The Land Reforms Commissioner shall be the ex officio Secretary to the Land Commission.(c)The Government shall nominate one of the members to be Chairman of the Commission.
