Section 3(1) in The Dibrugarh University Act, 1965
(1)The Chancellor, he Vice-Chancellor, the Rector and the members of the Court, the Executive Council, an the Academic Council, so long as they continue to hold such office or membership shall constitute a body corporate by the name of "The Dibrugarh University."
