Section 1 in The U.P. Go-Seva Ayog Adhiniyam, 1999
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)The Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Go-Sewa Ayog Adhiniyam, 1999.(2)It extends to the whole of Uttar Pradesh.(3)It [shall come into force] [Enforced on 20th April, 1999, vide Notification No. 2738/XII-I-P-99-8 (113-97), dated 5th May, 1999, published in the U.P. Gazette, (Extraordinary), Part 4, Section (Kha), dated 5th May, 1999.] on such date as the Government may, by notification, appoint in this behalf.
