Section 31(3) in The Alipurduar University Act, 2018
(3)The Selection Committee shall consist of the following members:-(a)nominee of the Chancellor, who shall be the Vice-Chancellor of a Stateaided University other than the concerned University and who shall be nominated in consultation with the Chancellor and who shall be the head of the Committee;(b)nominee of the State Government, who shall be an eminent academician and who is not related with the concerned University in any manner; and(c)nominee of the Vice-Chancellor, who shall not be below the rank of a Professor of any other University.
