Section 13(2) in Indian Institute of Teacher Education, Gujarat Act, 2010
(2)(a)During the leave or absence of the Vice-Chancellor, or(b)in the event of a permanent vacancy in the office of the Vice-Chancellor, until an appointment is made under sub-section (1) of section 12 to that office -the Dean, as nominated by the Vice-Chancellor, shall carry on the current duty of the office of the Vice-Chancellor.
