(2)The University may with the previous sanction of the State Government recognise for the purposes of admission to a course of study for a degree or diploma as equivalent to its own degree or diploma, and any degree or diploma conferred by any other University or Board or as equivalent to the higher secondary examination held under the Chhattisgarh Shiksha Adhiniyam, 1965 (No. 23 of 1965).
