98. Register of cultivators and crops.
- A register showing the crops grown on the land every year and the name of the cultivator growing them shall be prepared in every village in such form and maintained in such manner and by such officer as may be prescribed by Government in this behalf.Explanation. - For the purpose of this section, "cultivator" means a person who cultivated land whether as owner, tenant, sub-tenant or mortgagee-in-possession or in any other capacity.
