31. Admissions.
(1)Admissions in the University shall be made strictly on the basis of merit.(2)Merit for admission in the University may be determined cither on the basis of marks or grade obtained in the qualifying examination and achievements in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities or on the basis of marks or grade obtained in the entrance test conducted at the State level either by an association of the Universities conducting similar courses of any agency of the State. However, admission in professional and technical courses shall be made through entrance test only.(3)Number of seats in each faculty would be such decided by Board of Management of University.(4)University will adhere to the criteria of reservation as per the policy of the State Government.Chapter-9 Controller of Examinations
