Section 3(1) in The Jawaharlal Institute of Post-Graduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry Rules, 2008
(1)For the purposes of nomination of members under clause (i) of sub-section (1) of section 5, the Central Government, in addition to one non-medical scientist representing Indian Science Congress Association, shall nominate any person to be the member of the Institute having due regard for the furtherance of the institute:Provided that at least three persons shall be from among medical scientist.
