562. Ban on cow or cattle slaughter or road side slaughter and penalty.
(1)There shall be complete ban on slaughter of cow and cattle and road side slaughter of any animal in the Corporation area.(2)Whoever contravenes the provision of Sub-section (1) shall be prosecuted by the Commissioner or by any officer authorized by him or by the Mayor, Deputy Mayor or Corporator or any Executive Magistrate or any Police officer not below the rank of Sub-Inspector in the Corporation area.
