46. Fire resisting materials.
(1)The floor, roof, ceiling, private boxes, balconies, galleries, tiers, partitions and every room, lobby, corridor and passage intended for the use of the public shall be constructed of fire resisting materials.(2)No panelling of walls with wood and other combustible materials for decorative and other purposes in the building shall be permitted:Provided that in building in which such panelling has already been effected, the combustible materials with which the panelling has been effected shall be. treated with fire resistant paints.
