Section 25(1) in The Himachal Pradesh Police Act, 2007
(1)Each Non-Gazetted Civil Police Officer on first appointment, shall be issued a certificate of appointment in the form given in Schedule-II to this Act, an insignia bearing the acronym `H.P.P.' and a distinctive enrolment number from a District Roll for a member of the District Cadre and from a State Roll for a member of the State Cadre.
