Section 2(y) in The Rajasthan Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur Act, 2000
(y)"teacher" means a person not below the rank of Assistant Professor appointed or recognised by the University for the purpose of imparting instructions and/or conducting and guiding research and/or extension education programmes, and includes any other person who may be declared by the Statutes to be a teacher;
