Section 43 in The Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma Kachchh University Act, 2003

43. Withdrawal of Approval.

(1)The rights conferred on an institution by approval may be withdrawn or suspended for any period by the Executive Council if the institution has failed to observe any condition of its approval or the work assigned to it is conducted in a manner which is prejudicial to the interest of education, or the teacher recognised by the University leaves the institution.
(2)Before making an order under sub-section (1) in respect of any approved institution, the Executive Council shall, by notice in writing, call upon the institution to show cause within one month from the date of the receipt the notice by it, why such an order should not be made. The period so given for showing the cause may, if necessary, be extended by the Executive Council.
(3)On receipt of the explanation, if any, made by the institution in reply to the notice, and where no such reply is received, on the expiry of the period referred to in sub-section (2), the Executive Council shall, after consulting the Academic Council and after such inquiry, if any, as may appear to it to be necessary, to decide whether the approval should be withdrawn, modified, or, as the case may be, suspended and make an order accordingly.
