Section 1 in Tamil Nadu State Council for Higher Education Act, 1992
1. Short title, extent, application and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu State Council for Higher Education Act, 1992.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Tamil Nadu.(3)It applies to all the Universities, colleges and institutions of higher education. .(4)It shall come into [force on such date] [Act came into force on the 9th day of November 1992.] as the Government may, by notification, appoint.
