Section 243(2) in Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994
(2)When any powers and functions of the District Board are transferred to a [Mandal Praja Parishad] [Substituted 'Mandal Parishad' by Act No. 41 of 2006, dated 23.9.2006.] or a [Zilla Praja Parishad] [Substituted 'Zilla Parishad' by Act No. 41 of 2006, dated 23.9.2006.] under sub-Section (1), all references in the relevant District Boards Act or any other law for the time being in force to the District Board with reference to such powers and functions shall be construed as references to the [Mandal Praja Parishad] [Substituted 'Mandal Parishad' by Act No. 41 of 2006, dated 23.9.2006.] or the [Zilla Praja Parishad] [Substituted 'Zilla Parishad' by Act No. 41 of 2006, dated 23.9.2006.], as the case may be.
