Section 14(3)(a) in The Orissa Civil Services (Commutation of Pension) Rules, 1992

(a)The Accounts Officer, on receipt of Form 1-A from the appointing authority, shall ascertain and verify if the amount of superannuation pension of the applicant has been calculated, and if not, take steps to finalise the amount of pension, so that the pension payment order is issued in time.
