Section 10(2) in The UTTAR PRADESH POLICE AND FORENSIC SCIENCE UNIVERSITY ACT, 2020
(2)The person to be appointed as the Vice-Chancellor shall,-(i)Must be an officer associated with Police and Law & Order Administration with desirable specialization in Forensic Science or Internal Security or a officer of level of Director General of Police or its equivalent and has served a total of 30 years.;(ii)be associated with Uttar Pradesh and worked in the State in terms of development, education, philanthropy, industrial or business development or exemplary administration in the State Services, Corporations or public bodies;(iii)not have attained the age of sixty-five years on the date of nomination or re-nomination.
