Section 19(1) in The Indian Postal Service (Group 'A') Rules, 1987
(1)No candidate who, after such physical examination as the Government may prescribed, is not found to in good mental or bodily health and free from any mental or physical defect likely to interfere with the discharge of the duties of the service, shall be appointed to the Service.
