35. Award of Certificate.
(1)The school shall issue the certificate of completion of elementary education to the child before the last working day of the academic year in Form 5 as shown in Appendix VI.(2)The certificate shall contain details of academic progress of the child and specify its achievements both in curricular as well as co-curricular activities.(3)The SCERT shall design a model format for the detail of academic progress of the child and circulate it among all schools through District Education Officer.(4)The school shall ensure that the child has reached the expected learning levels before a certificate mentioned in sub rule (1) is issued.Part - VIII Protection of the Rights of the Children
