Section 276(1) in West Bengal Municipal Corporation Act, 2006
(1)Subject to the provisions of section 262,-(a)every person shall make an application, in writing to the Commissioner seeking permission to erect or re-erect a building and shall specify in the application the purpose for which such building is intended to be used; and(b)every such application shall be accompanied by a building plan.
