Section 22(1) in The Kerala Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2009
(1)The State Government may by order, establish a District Committee of Senior Citizens for each District to advise in effective and co-ordinate the implementation of the Act and the rules at the district level, and to perform such other functions in relation to senior citizens at the district level, as the State Government may specify.
