22. District Committee of Senior Citizens.
(1)The State Government may by order, establish a District Committee of Senior Citizens for each District to advise in effective and co-ordinate the implementation of the Act and the rules at the district level, and to perform such other functions in relation to senior citizens at the district level, as the State Government may specify.(2)The District Committee shall meet once every quarter.(3)Composition of the District Committee, tenure of members (other than ex-officio members), rules of procedure and other ancillary matters shall be such as the state Government may, by order specify.
