Section 9(2) in Kerala Survey and Boundaries Rules, 1964
(2)A survey mark shall be deemed to require repairs -(a)When it is out of the ground, or is buried less than 2/3 of its length or is completely under the surface of the ground.(b)When it is out of its correct position; and(c)when it is covered with vegetation.
