(1)All applications for grant of anticipatory bail shall be supported with an affidavit of the applicant clearly stating the name of the advocate he has engaged and whether any such bail application has been previously filed or not. In exceptional cases a relative of the applicant or the persons engaging the lawyer in the High Court may submit an affidavit in support of the application.(2)In a case where the number of accused are more than one, the affidavit shall state as to whether or not bail application of a co-accused is pending or has been disposed of in the High Court.(3)All applications under Section 439 of the Co ie of Criminal Procedure shall be supported with an affidavit of the relative or person .acquainted with the facts. If the number of the accused are more than one, the affidavit shall state as to whether or not bail application of co-accused is pending or has been disposed of in the High Court.
