56. Electrical and Allied Installations (Including lightening protection of buildings).
- For requirements regarding electrical installations in buildings including lightening protection of buildings, reference shall be made to the NBC Part 8 'Building Services, Section 2 Electrical and Allied Installations'. Power room or Generator room or Ring Main Guard or Ring main Unit or Metering sets and panels to be installed at Ground floor or above, at a height of at least 1 meter above the Ground level. Installation at basement floors shall be discouraged.
