62. Appointment of first Vic.
- Chancellor.-(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in section 25, the first Vice-Chancellor shall be appointed by the Chancellor, as recommended by the State Government, for a period not exceeding four years and on such terms and conditions as the State Government may decide.(2)The first Vice-Chancellor shall, within three months from the date of his appointment, make arrangements for constituting the Executive Council, the Academic Council, the Faculty Council and the Departmental Committee.
