Section 15 in Bihar Police Driver Cadre Rules, 2017
15. Promotion.
(1)The promotional chain of the confirmed employees in this cadre shall be as per the following :-(a)Driver Constable to Havildar Driver;(b)Havildar Driver to Assistant Sub-Inspector(Transport);(c)From Assistant Sub-Inspector(Transport) to the post of Sub-Inspector (Transport);(d)From Sub-Inspector(Transport) to the post of Inspector(Transport);(2)The promotion shall be admissible on the basis of seniority cum eligibility criterion which shall be considered as per recommendation of the Departmental Promotion Committee. Secret Character Remark, Performance Report, required Trainings, Departmental Examinations will be included in the suitable eligibility criterion.
