Section 10 in THE ANDHRA PRADESH FISHERIES UNIVERSITY ACT, 2020
10. The Chancellor -
(1)The Governor of Andhra Pradesh shall be the Chancellor of the University. He/She shall, by virtue of his/her office, be the Head of the University, and shall, when present, preside at any convocation of the University. He/She shall exercise such other powers as may be conferred on him/her by or under thisAct.(2)No honorary degree or other distinction shall be conferred by the University upon any person without the approval of the Chancellor.
