(1)All persons who are required to supervise the handling of hazardous substances shall possess the following qualification and experience:(a)(i)A degree in Chemistry or Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Technology with 5 years experience; or(ii)A Master's Degree in Chemistry or a Degree in Chemical Engineering or Technology with 5 years, experience.The experience stipulated above shall be process operation and maintenance in the Chemical Industry.(b)The Chief Inspector may require the Supervisor to undergo training in Health and Safety.
