Section 27(1) in The Rajasthan Accounts Service Rules, 1954
(1)For purposes of recruitment by promotion, a selection strictly on Seniority-cum-merit shall be made from among all the [Assistant Accounts Officer Grade-I] [Substituted by Notification No. F. 1(6), dated 1.10.2014 (w.e.f. 1.7.2013).] who are eligible for promotion under the provision of these Rules on the first day of the month of April of year of selection.
