(1)The owner, agent and manager of a mine shall ensure that every part of a derrick, mast and sub-structure is of sound construction and strength, meeting the maximum load criteria for which it is designed and shall be maintained in safe working condition all the time.(2)The derrick shall be adequately secured to prevent it from overturning.
