Section 49(3) in First Statutes of the University of Udaipur
(3)The Selection Committee shall consist of:-(i)Vice-Chancellor, as Chairman;(ii)The Dean or the Associated Dean, as the case may be, or, in the case of teachers for the School of Basic Science and Humanities, its Director;(iii)The Heads of the Department; and(iv)Experts, not exceeding two nominated by the Vice-Chancellor from out of a panel of persons recommended by the Academic Council.
