Section 47(5) in The Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 2005
(5)(a)The Commission shall be entitled to appoint consultants, experts and others as the Commission may consider appropriate and authorise the Commission's staff, consultants and experts to hold discussions and deliberations with the Licensee before the Commission considers the application of the Licensee for investment approval.(b)The Licensee seeking investment approval shall furnish information, particulars, documents as may be required by the Commission staff, consultants and experts appointed by the Commission for the purpose and allow them access to the records and documents in power, possession or custody of the Licensee.(c)The Licensee shall co-operate with the Commission's staff, consultants and experts to enable them to discharge their functions and to submit a report to the Commission on the outcome of their findings.
