Section 34(1) in Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, Act, 2005
(1)The Board shall constitute a selection committee in regard to the appointment of teachers for each faculty which shall consist of the following persons, namely:-(i)the Vice-Chancellor who shall be ex-officio Chairman of the Committee;(ii)the Dean of Faculty concerned; and(iii)three experts in the case of selection of Professors, two experts in the case of selection of Associate Professors and one expert in the case of selection of Assistant Professors nominated by the Board, the experts being from outside the University, having special knowledge of the subject concerned.
