Section 42 in The Rajasthan Soil and Water Conservation Act, 1964
42. Procedure and powers at inquiries.
(1)Any officer or authority empowered to make an inquiry under this Act shall, where no specific provision has been made therefor, make the inquiry in the manner provided in any law relating to revenue inquiries and all the provisions contained in such law shall, as far as may be apply to an inquiry under this Act.(2)Any officer or authority referred to in sub-section (1) shall have the same powers of summoning and enforcing the attendance of any person and examining him on oath and compelling the production of documents as are vested in revenue officers under the law referred to in that sub-section.
